La Belle Golf Club’s public restaurant and lounge is named for Willie Anderson. Willie was the La Belle head pro in 1900. Following his time at La Belle, Anderson emblazoned his name in golf history by winning four U. S. Open championships and is the only golfer to win three U. S Opens in a row. Anderson is a long-time member of the World Golf Hall of Fame.
